Brief:

To arrange an afternoon get-together for a mum-to-be and her close friends and family.

Response:

We needed a venue that would be central enough for guests travelling in from outside the city. We found a lovely bar with a private hire room upstairs overlooking Bristol harbour – a beautiful setting for the afternoon gathering. As the parents-to-be were keeping the baby’s gender a surprise, we opted for a black and silver theme. With black not being a popular colour for a baby shower (surprisingly or not), but with much persistence and a lot of scouring the internet, we found just what we needed. It was important to find the right combination of games and activities, as well as giving people the chance to relax and enjoy spending time together.

Outcome:

There was a lovely atmosphere, full of giggles and games which included a Piñata stuffed with yummy treats. The venue was fantastic and very accommodating. We wanted to add a personal touch (as we do!) so we organised gift bags for those who attended, including lots of little goodies, as well some tasty treats made by yours truly.
