Why a wedding planner and event coordinator?
Well, with a background in theatre and TV, I knew I always wanted to work in an industry that was all about the hustle and bustle. I knew I had an eye for creativity and my organisational skills drove everyone mad, so the obvious choice had to be event planning!
Starting my professional life in London, working for a boutique event agency, I was lucky enough to work on a variety of events and it didn’t take long before I was hooked!
After moving back to Bristol, I grew my event management expertise and worked within the corporate sector for a number of years organising conferences, seminars and award ceremonies. It wasn’t long though before I needed some creative freedom and Hummingbird Events was born!
